Organizing and running an efficient campaign headquarters is essential to the success of any campaign. The Kern County Republican Party was blessed in 2004 when Hank and Lois Londean agreed to take on that tough assignment. It was without a doubt one of the most successful campaign headquarters that the GOP had ever deployed locally. In the 2006 primary election the Londeans again donated their time and talents to running a headquarters, this time for the Jean Fuller for Assembly campaign. Their hard work and dedication paid off as Jean Fuller was successful in winning the Republican nomination for the 32^nd Assembly District.

        When the Kern County Republican Party and the California Republican Party Victory 06 Campaign decided to open a joint Campaign Headquarters and Call Center in Bakersfield for the fall 2006 campaign; one of the first things that had to be done was to find out if Hank and Lois could step up to the plate one more time. While many would have declined because they had done enough, we are so fortunate that the Londeans again said: Yes.

        Their passion and dedication for the Republican Party is only surpassed by their passion and dedication to each other. We are once again in their debt for their loyal service to the GOP. While we could pile on accolades for days, it will have to suffice us to say, "We couldn't’t have done it without you!"

        In light of their long hours of service and dedication to the Kern County Republican Party, we are honored to acknowledge Hank and Lois Londean as our Republicans of the Week.
